UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center President Jamie Silva-Steele and Chief Operating Officer Adrian Larson continue to claim that they want to come to the table to negotiate our patient healing conditions and our working conditions.
But they’re not doing what is necessary to bargain a fair contract in good faith. If they really wanted to, they would do the following…
Step 1. Stop retaliating against our members for speaking out about the hospital’s poor leadership.
Step 2. Stop trying to exclude some of our members during contract discussions.
Step 3. Stop dictating who can assist our members.
Step 4. Stop trying to set up illegal bargaining.
Step 5. Provide us with the location and time to negotiate a full contract that protects all Health Professionals and our patients. We will be there, ready to negotiate and resolve the issues you have created.
